Dirk Brinkman (Business Development)
Dirk is the senior executive and cofounder of the Brinkman & Associates Reforestation Group of companies. Since 1970, Dirk has been a core contributor to the innovation of operational practices and policy in reforestation and ecosystem restoration in Canada and the tropics. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences, forums and workshops, published over one hundred articles and editorials and contributed to many workshops and working committees in forestry.
Chris Norman (Business Development)
Chris has been with Brinkman for 15 years managing the operations in Western Canada and since 2005 has been dedicated to the development of diversification strategies and their implementation. He coordinates the integration of business activities in multiple countries and is responsible for development strategies in new operating areas.
Jorge Mora (International Project Finance)
Jorge has provided finance and accounting consulting services to Brinkman’s Central America operations since 2001 and joined as Director of Finance in 2006. Responsible for the finance and accounting of the organization in multiple countries, as well as meeting the reporting functions required for investors. He lives in San Jose.
Cameron St John (International Project Finance)
Cameron St. John has a background in large corporations in both the old and new economies. Prior to joining Brinkman in 2007, Cameron was an executive in the Asian office of Sterling Commerce, a leading provider of EDI-based middleware. Before 1998, Cameron was an economist and business acquisitions analyst at Teck Corporation (now Teck-Cominco Corporation), a major Canadian mining corporation.
Cameron completed an MBA with Distinction at the Australian Graduate School of Management, including a China Business specialty at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Fred Schutter (Central America)
Fred has been part of the Brinkman Group since 1978, managing reforestation projects in British Columbia, Canada before directing the development of the Central America operations in 1994. He lives near Parrita in Costa Rica.
Robert Seaton (Project Analysis)
Robert Seaton has been with the Brinkman Group for 22 years, during which he founded the technical and restoration divisions at Brinkman. Robert is an expert analyst in temperate softwood and tropical hardwood forestry, focusing on natural system valuation and the economics of sustainability, including through the integration of timber and carbon values.

Diego Dipieri (Panama & South America)
Diego is responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations and the management of over 300 staff and field workers in Costa Rica and Panama and advises on developing operations in other Latin American countries. He has been part of the Brinkman Group since 1981 having managed reforestation operations in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada before moving to the Central American operations in 2001. He lives in Panama City.
Ricardo Lujan (Central America)
BARCA was able to attract Ricardo from his teaching position at the ITCR Institute, (“Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica”), in 1996 to head up the forestry team. As one of the leading reforestation experts in Costa Rica, Ricardo and his professional team offer a wide variety of forestry consulting services through BARCA, as well as ensuring the technical integrity of BARCA's plantation management services. He was a professor in Forestry at ITCR and a Principal Research Forester at CATIE. He has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from ITCR and completed a Master of Science in Forestry/Agroforestry from CATIE. Ricardo is a registered professional forester and surveyor in Costa Rica.
